Big Mouths KTOK-AM Oklahoma City's News, Weather, and Traffic Station!: "'If George Bush loses the election, Osama bin Laden wins the election,'" That's our Rep. Tom Cole (R- what else?) opening his mouth and letting his stupidity show for the whole world to see. He was making the comparison to FDR's re-election during WWII. Because you see, Osama is like Hitler and not reelecting Bush will unleash the forces of evil upon the world. The only thing standing between us and the terrorists is our Dear Leader! Lets follow the logic... Lets say we re-elect Bush. He goes on to eliminate terrorism thoughout the world, which seems like an impossible goal considering we're now including teachers, anarchists and anyone not sufficiently pro-American under that mantle. So, we still have terrorism in four years, the "War on Terror" (cue: scary organ music) goes on but we're faced with a new delimna, we can't re-elect Bush. Do we change the rules to let him run again or do we go with another candidate that can win the "War on Terror?" If you ask Tom Cole I bet you know what his answer will be: Vote for the Republican candidate. Therefore... we are to conclude that voting for a Democrat is voting for Bin Laden. Hence it is our duty as footsoldiers in "war on Terror" to vote only for Republicans. It makes perfect sense doesn't it. Tom Cole is a partisan whore who is using the "War on Terror" and Osama Bin Laden as tools to promote his party's agenda. | |
