More Wilco... Went out yesterday to get some more paper for my printer, 4x6 size this time, 120 sheets, and picked up a DVD: I Am Trying to Break Your Heart a film about Wilco. I couldn't resist the urge to watch it right away. So I did. As a musician who engages in my own brand of songwriting and recording I found the movie fascinating. It was painful to watch the group dynamics in the studio as Jay Bennet couldn't stop from explaining himself over and over again. I cringed, I laughed and I enjoyed the music. Hooray for this film! Hooray as well for the Free EP that I've been enjoying as well. Five new songs I've never heard before plus a remake of Kamera. You can download the EP for free by typing in the five letter code from the back of the cd. I wont give it here, because you really should own YHF. If you do, a mere 30MB download is all it takes! When did it get so cold? | |
