Some Battles aren't Worth Winning Many Americans are triumphant that we defeated Saddam's regime in Iraq, and we are victorious. But that's like saying you fought to get your Mother-in-Law to move in with you and your victorious there. But like Iraq, did we really want what we won? I always thought that winning the war might be just as bad as losing it. After all, now we have a nation of people that depend on us for their well being.
