Krugman for President!!! . . . someday Paths of Glory : The administration's antiterror campaign makes me think of the way television studios really look. The fancy set usually sits in the middle of a shabby room, full of cardboard and duct tape. Networks take great care with what viewers see on their TV screens; they spend as little as possible on anything off camera. Krugman's been getting some slack for being (gasp) shrill. This is due to the sheer absence of people that are willing to take the Bush administration to task for its foolishness. For Gawd's sake... ! He's an economist! The fact that he's the only one with the guts to tell it like straight clearly indicates that our media is sitting down on the job. Not only sitting down, they have their faces to the wall and their fingers in their ears. Thank you Paul. | |
