The enemy is a guy called Satan.” What can I say, he's one of your guys? Next Quote please. “Why is this man in the White House? The majority of Americans did not vote for him. Why is he there? And I tell you this morning that he’s in the White House because God put him there for a time such as this.” His idealogical view, in reverse, can be heard in all the terrorist training camps. To them we are the Satan, we are the "principality of darkness", we are the ones that must be destroyed to preserve their religious worldview. Do they want to destroy the United States because we are Christian? Some do yes. Because they perceive us to be evil. They do not see themselves as agents of Satan. Neither do we. But do people like Lt. Gen. Boykin harbor the very same mentality as the terrorists? Yes. The arguement of mutually assured destruction have been outlined: They are Evil, We are Righteous. We must destroy them to please God. And the cycle of religious violence continues. | |
