Over the Barrel Yet? DEFEAT THE RIGHT IN THREE MINUTES When you cut right through it, right-wing ideology is just "dime-store economics" – intended to dress their ideology up and make it look respectable. You don't really need to know much about economics to understand it. They certainly don't. It all gets down to two simple words. Go read. A very concise summary of what I consider to be an obvious reality. The only beef I have about this author's premise is that its only conservatives that hold a torch for cheap labor. I would say that there are a few liberals (or DLC democrats if you will) who salivate over the idea of making piles of cash in the market even if that means crushing human souls with backbreaking work for minimum wage. I would put Bill Clinton in the cheap labor liberal category. | |
